Talk Around is a free directory and map of businesses in Romania, filterable by the language they serve customers in. It is a discovery tool only — Talk Around does not process bookings, payments, or transactions between users and listed businesses, and is not a party to any transaction you make with a listed business. The one exception is Business Promotion Packages, purchased directly from Talk Around — see Section 6.
Listings are sourced from public research and from submissions by users and business owners. We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee that every detail (hours, languages spoken, contact info) is current — a “Verified” badge means a listing has been confirmed by us or the business owner; unverified listings should be double-checked directly with the business before you visit. If you spot an error, use a listing’s “Suggest an edit” link to let us know.
If you submit a business via “Add a Place” or claim a listing, you confirm the information you provide is accurate to your knowledge. Submissions are reviewed before publication and we may edit, decline, or remove any listing at our discretion, including at the request of the business owner.
Ratings submitted on business pages should reflect a genuine experience. We may remove ratings that are abusive, fraudulent, or unrelated to the business.
Businesses may purchase a paid promotion package (featured badge, homepage placement, and/or a photo in search results, depending on the tier) via the “Promote” page. Payment is processed by Netopia, a third-party Romanian payment processor — Talk Around does not receive or store your card details. A submitted and paid promotion is reviewed by Talk Around before it goes live, to confirm it is being purchased on behalf of the business being promoted; we may decline or delay activation at our discretion. Persoană fizică (individual) and persoană juridică (company) buyers are both accepted, and company buyers are responsible for providing accurate fiscal details (CUI) for invoicing. For payment issues or refund requests, contact us via the promotion application form.
Talk Around may display advertising (via Google AdSense) to keep the directory free to use. See our Privacy Policy for how ad cookies are handled.
Talk Around is provided “as is”. We’re not liable for losses arising from your reliance on listing information, or from your dealings with any business found through the site.
We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
